Studies in the past have demonstrated rising trends in cocktail consumption as a result of audiences’ growing preference for “authenticity”. So, to all party-hosts-to-be (Hint, hint: T-2 days until Thanksgiving!) – in addition to that scrumptious feast, those gorgeous party decor and exciting activities you’ve got hidden up your sleeves – if you are looking to really blitz up the spirit of the occasion, look no further! Trend Alert: Champagne Cocktails

The custom cocktail isn’t a new trend, but it is continuing to gain popularity! Last year, the moscow mule was the drink of wedding season! Now, we’re seeing couples get really personal with a completely custom drink, filled with their favorite flavors. A new twist that we recommend is a champagne cocktail. Champagne cocktails will certainly wow your guests and they’re so refreshing for spring! Go ahead – pop that bubbly!

With every sip, you’ll feel like you’re driving though New England and watching the leaves turn orange. It’s heaven! If you’re planning a fall wedding, you’ll definitely want to include this traditional beverage. From apple cider cocktails to donuts, your guests will love this super sweet treat!

Confessions of a Customer: Jessica & John

There are so many different options when considering your wedding paper, it’s hard for a couple to make that decision without the help of an expert. We pride ourselves in personalizing each couple’s experience to help them find the collection that is uniquely special to them. We especially love when we are able to design a custom logo as a cohesive element to appear in all of the couple’s wedding paper!

Jessica and John celebrated their wedding at the Mandarin Oriental in DC. Jessica shares, “Working with the ladies at the Dandelion Patch was a great experience!  Before my first appointment, I was completely clueless about the different types of printing styles, paper, and designs.  The Patchettes guided me through the options and we ended up with a customized letterpress suite.  We ended up using the logo designed for our invitations on our menu and thank you cards.  The ladies at The Dandelion Patch were very patient throughout the proofing process and they made realistic estimates on price and timing, which my husband and I greatly appreciated!”

We enjoyed working with Jessica and John and their talented vendor team, including wedding planner Laura Ritchie, of Grit and Grace. Thanks to K. Thompson Photography for capturing the couple’s special day so beautifully!
