Real Wedding Wednesday: Katherine & Jeffrey

Katherine & Jeffrey’s wedding, planned by Tabitha Roberts of Roberts & Co. Events, was recently the first wedding to be held in the Trump International Hotel in DC. We were super excited to get a glimpse inside, and we certainly weren’t disappointed! The hotel’s gallery wall made a beautiful backdrop for the couple’s ceremony. To complement the venue, Katherine and Jeff incorporated lots of gold in to their wedding plans. We loved creating their sparkling signage and day-of paper in gold. The Patchettes also designed their DC skyline place cards!

Congratulations to these lovely newlyweds! We’re also giving our photographer friends at  Lovestruck Images a round of applause for having these photos featured on the Washingtonian website. We really can’t thank Lovestruck enough for sharing these shots with us too! What a magnificent day!

Confessions of a Customer: Edith & Tim

We wanted to showcase couple Edith and Tim for today’s “Confessions of a Customer” because of their lively and fun personalities. These newlyweds recently tied the knot in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Photographer Astrid, one of our Patch Partners, beautifully captured the day!

When asked about their stationery journey, Tim recanted, “Invitations, the first tangible product guests will see. No pressure, right? Edith and I walked into The Dandelion Patch, initially overwhelmed by the walls full of binders… and invitations… and fonts… and colors… But not to worry. The extraordinary Patchettes listened to our loose narrative of “whimsy”, “natural”, and “French Provincial” and helped translate them into an amazing invitation! We had a notion of capturing the skyline of Gettysburg as part of the invitation. I loosely sketched the view from the winery across the surrounding vineyard and orchards and we left the store. Well, the kicker that made our invitation over the moon amazing was that Dandelion brought to life this mere sketch. It was incredible! The picture became the backdrop to our invitation and tied it all together.Bottom line: WE COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED! The resulting invitation was more amazing than we could have dreamed. And, we owe a lot of the collaborative credit to the folks at the Dandelion Patch!”

Cheers to Edith and Tim! We’re so happy they are a part of The Dandelion Patch family!
