Happy Friday everyone! We hope that you all had a great week and are excited for the weekend! As I travel back to the nations capital, all I am thinking about is everything D.C! So many people do themes for their wedding but the D.C. theme is always the most used one.  It can be done so tastefully and transform your wedding into a classic.

Monday Feature: Puppy Lovin’

Brides today want to change up their wedding and do something to make them stand out!   One way to do that is to make your bouquets less that traditional by using puppies! More and more people are doing this to raise attention towards adoption of animals. Some brides even make sure that their wedding party are all in places in their lives where they can actually adopt the puppy that they chose to take photos with!

Real Wedding Wednesday: Westbury Manor Ethereal Garden Escapade

Today’s Real Wedding finds us at Westbury Manor in Long Island, New York, where Rachel and Charles (Cap) exchange vows surrounded by sophisticated foliage of the venue’s outdoor garden. Throughout the ceremony, rich shades of greenery juxtapose tastefully with its classical counterpart in white, but not without subtle tweaks to the traditional palette that make this wedding all the more intimate! Additional hues of blush and airy blues leave the couple and loved ones faces fresh and absolutely aglow against the landscape’s outstanding elegance! Of course, none of this would be visible to us without the lovely Cadence Kennedy, who expertly captured moments from this eventful escapade to leave us in silent awe and satisfaction.

Real Wedding Wednesday: Mount Ida Farm, Glamorous Barn Wedding of Blues

Since their first year together at University of Virginia’s School of Law and through years of work at Washington, D.C. after graduation, Lucie and Nick finally wed under looming serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains at Mount Ida Farm. The luscious outdoors gave a brightening overcast in the presence of the bridesmaids’ dusty blue palette. A friendly shoutout to Aaron Watson Photography for capturing all the sweet moments of glamor and grace shared between our featured couple and with family and friends, all of this under the watercolored-blues of mountain and sky.

Real Wedding Wednesday: The Greenbrier, Wedding of Succulents and Pearl

Sarah and Ted’s wedding at The Greenbrier in West Virginia was replete with swirls of desaturated greens and blues that paired exquisitely with the outdoors atmosphere of the venue. Our gorgeous bridesmaids all swathed in gowns of pale pearl supported their bride both in spirit and through aesthetics. Classic bouquets of greenery and white were embellished with red beaded berries and fresh succulents, bringing in just the right amount of visual vibrancy while retaining an overall revitalizing and organic quality. Thanks to the talents of Hope Taylor Photography, we get glimpses of how truly joyous this special day was for all in attendance!

The subtle visual effects of the event were graced by warm sun rays, but none of this would have been in the first place without prior preparation from our trusty team of vendors! Thanks to all who contributed to the success of Sarah and Ted’s wedding day! We definitely look forward to working together again in the future!
