Holiday Special: Until Next Year, Red Green & White

While our twinkling lights twinkled and joyous voices caroled, the fa-la-la-la-festive day that we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! Merry Christmas everybody! Up until now we haven’t had a chance to truly appreciate the holiday’s visual contributions to season’s celebrations, so we’ve compiled a collection of holly, jolly (at times even delicious) Christmas-inspired wedding features! Read on to sample essences of Christmas that we adore and will most certainly miss as we part ways with #xmas2017.

Holiday Special: Season’s Cocktail Campaign

Studies in the past have demonstrated rising trends in cocktail consumption as a result of audiences’ growing preference for “authenticity”. So, to all party-hosts-to-be (Hint, hint: T-2 days until Thanksgiving!) – in addition to that scrumptious feast, those gorgeous party decor and exciting activities you’ve got hidden up your sleeves – if you are looking to really blitz up the spirit of the occasion, look no further! Here, we’ve brought in sample cocktail beverages that we think perfectly embodies the fall season flavor. From the homey aroma of pumpkin to the spicy tang of cinnamon, from autumn maple to freshly harvested fruit, we simply cannot wait to fine dine and cocktail the night away!

Additional vodka and KahlĂșa (coffee-flavored liqueur) makes a delicious 21+ version of everyone’s favorite pumpkin spice latte.

Holiday Special: Sweet Treats and Spooky Reads

With this spook-taculicious holiday just around the corner, we’re switching gears from wedding trends to a more general topic: party treats! But not just any spooky party treats, either. In preparation for this year’s All Hallows’ Eve, we’ve selected some of our favorite desserts inspired by dark classics in literature. You’ll have your guests chuckling in no time once they see your clever creations!

Take a sip! Try a bite! Will you grow to be a giant the size of a cottage, or shrink down enough to fit through a teeny-tiny door in the wall?

Trend Alert Holiday Special: Gathering in Gingham

Happy Labor Day, everyone! This particular holiday has held up a steady reputation as one of the most popular dates for weddings, to which many couples have attributed to the long weekend and guests from other states having more time to complete the journey. However, in light of the spirit of patriotism (inexplicably) attached to this day, we’ve decided on a trend compromise – one that’s not blatantly patriotic, but at the same time provides a smidgen of “America” to continue the culture. Ever heard of Gingham? While most of the plaid-looking pattern fulfills the familiar red-white-and-blue anthem, fortunately for those who already made plans for a non-patriotic wedding, it is casual enough to also be incorporated into other settings!

Featured Below: Fashion-Isha

Mason jars and blue (or red) gingham ribbon are classic “America day” decor, but they’re extremely versatile too!

Featured Below: Snippet & Ink

It’s not 4th of July, but as summer days linger on, picnic potential continues to run high! How about a pleasant backyard picnic reception party?

Featured Below: Style Me Pretty

As a motif of outdoor dining, the classic “red-checkered” look evokes many settings associated with the good ol’ US of A – rustic barnyard, chic countryside, you name it!

Featured Below: Style Me Pretty

Be it home-made jam or honey, cap off wedding favors with gingham-patterned fabric for a cozy, rustic atmosphere.

Featured Below: Objectivo Cupcake

Cupcake liners, basket liners, envelope liners… aside from the obvious fact that they all feature the word “liner”, did you know they also share an affinity for gingham?

Featured Below: Grey Likes Weddings

Would you have known otherwise how geometrically glamorous gingham looked on a cake?

Featured Below: Brides

Gingham button-ups look simply dashing on all ages!

Featured Below: No Time To Stamp?

Think of the endless possibilities in decor you’d be able to peruse once you combine patterning with florals!

Featured Below: Style Me Pretty

Let’s get ready to melt some hearts and make the ladies swoon in a hip, all-gingham three-piece!

Gingham, in its most basic form, is a pattern that one can continue to stylize and work with, so if the commonly seen navy and red palette of this pattern doesn’t suite your tastes, feel free to switch up the color tones, or even incorporate other designs in your presentation! And, like all other patterns, gingham would certainly add a burst of color to your stationary! For more inspiration, follow The Dandelion Patch on FacebookInstagram, and Twitter!
