Real Wedding Wednesday: Westbury Manor Ethereal Garden Escapade

Today’s Real Wedding finds us at Westbury Manor in Long Island, New York, where Rachel and Charles (Cap) exchange vows surrounded by sophisticated foliage of the venue’s outdoor garden. Throughout the ceremony, rich shades of greenery juxtapose tastefully with its classical counterpart in white, but not without subtle tweaks to the traditional palette that make this wedding all the more intimate! Additional hues of blush and airy blues leave the couple and loved ones faces fresh and absolutely aglow against the landscape’s outstanding elegance! Of course, none of this would be visible to us without the lovely Cadence Kennedy, who expertly captured moments from this eventful escapade to leave us in silent awe and satisfaction.

We’d like to thank all of our fellow vendors who participated and contributed their expertise to bring this wedding to life! It was great fun working with everyone, and we look forward to future collaborations!

Styled Shoot: Raspberry Plain Manor Greetings in Greenery

This week we bring you a special feature: a Leesburg, VA styled shoot! Enter JOFFOTO, local Leesburg photographer, who lent his talent to help capture this work of art created resulting from collaboration by vendors. Classic wedding greenery capture the viridity of the season while white floral accents grasp at its youth, as if symbolic of the new beginning that couples will share. Raspberry Plain Manor provides the perfect “backyard wedding” atmosphere while surrounded by the luscious outdoors. Meanwhile, the spacious interior of the historically significant manor house stands equally grand and befitting of the occasion. Despite its size, the estate was no doubt the ideal location for an intimate celebration!

Can you picture yourself as the bride or groom in these photos yet? A huge thanks to our team of vendors for collaborating with us to always bring no less than the best to our clients!

Real Wedding Wednesday: Army and Navy Country Club Black Tie Affair

Real Wedding Wednesday is back and classier than ever! Today we have a black tie affair at the Army and Navy Country Club celebrating the union of Sherry and Fred. The couple loves golf and wanted to incorporate this into their theme as much as possible. Little details like incorporating golf clubs into a custom crest on their wedding paper and placing their escort cards on moss with golf balls are the perfect touches to their day! A color scheme of greenery and yellow was orchestrated beautifully into their theme by Type A Society, and the entire day was captured by the talents of Sarah Bradshaw Photography. Take a look below at Sherry and Fred’s special day!

What a good time it looks like Sherry and Fred had! We loved working with this great team of vendors and wish the couple a lifetime of laughs and happiness!

Here’s today’s out of the ordinary DIY idea: using hula hoops! Hula hoops and embroidery hoops are swinging into the wedding scene as versatile and cheap objects you can use to make your day special! Don’t have a clue what we’re talking about? Check out some of these ideas below to get you started. From their the possibilities are endless!
