Real Weddings
As both natives of the DC area, Katie and Will first crossed paths in the club of a hotel they had both been staying at in San Juan, Puerto Rico and discovered that they were coincidentally working about 3 blocks away from one another in Silver Springs, MD at the time. With a first date of dinner and gelato in Arlington, it wasn’t long before the two developed a friendship and love rooted in shared people and pasts!
The wedding itself comprised of bursts of tropical tones of fuschia, lavendar and mandarin orange, as expertly captured by Lindsay Fauver Photography! Hosted at Clarendon Ballroom and Rooftop Pavilion, the event presented several elements that held memories from the past. In fact, Katie’s wedding band and bouquet featured material commemorating important moments in her grandparents’ lives!
