Tuesday Trends: Let Them (not) Eat Cake

We often feature beautiful wedding cakes, but we realize cake might not be everyone’s thing. We’re partial to anything sweet, but completely support couples who prefer something other than cake! These are a few of our favorite wedding desserts that are not cake, but will still satisfy your sweet tooth!

This may look like a cake, but it’s actually a stunningly decorated stack of cookies. Keeps the traditional look of the wedding cake, but has the taste of a cookie! Plus they are personal size, and everyone loves that.

If you can’t live without chocolate, serving brownies at your wedding is a great option! We love this brownie stack! The flowers definitely help the dessert fit in at a wedding.

Macaron cakes have become a common replacement for a traditional cake. This macaron cake also features one of our other favorite trends–ombre.

Cake pops and cupcakes technically are a type of cake, but we still think they are fun and unique options if you want to stray away from the traditional tiered wedding cake.

Donuts are a fun option, especially if your wedding is earlier in the day. (Or if you just love donuts as much as we do!)

There’s the always classic alternative to cake–pie. Having all different flavors will keep your guests happy!

One of the biggest trends we’ve been seeing lately is dessert tables. This means cake may still be an option, but you’ll have lots of other options along with the cake!
