Who would have known that a high school art project would
inspire a line of functional, fashionable footwear? After creating a
pair of ceramic flip flops and receiving an enthusiastic response,
Switchflops creator Lindsay Phillips began to toy with the idea of
manufacturing real footwear - with an artistic influence.
Switchflops allow you to create dozens of different looks, all with one
pair of sandals. The key is Switchflops' collection of Velcro-backed
straps, which are available in various colors and patterns, and are
complemented by a distinctive button. The sandals themselves are
available in black, brown, and tan, in both flat and wedge styles.

"Oh my gosh, that's so cute!

If you're Christi Novak, the answer is probably The Dandelion Patch. A
lawyer, mother of two, and regular customer since 2005, Christi visits
our Reston Town Center location when she's in search of unique gifts for
her friends and family.
Recently, Christi's best childhood friend moved into a new house, so
housewarming gifts for the whole family were in order. "What's amazing
is that I can find gifts for everyone in the family - a 70-year-old
woman and her golf-loving husband, all the way down to an
eleven-year-old son," says Christi. She's particularly fond of
Mariposa's line of pewter serving pieces, as well as Mayfair Lane's 'Happeez'
line of stainless steel-friendly fridge clips, note pads, and message
boards. Christi is always appreciative of the guidance and assistance
she receives when buying gifts at The Dandelion Patch. "You offer
amazing customer service, and help me find gifts for everyone on my
shopping list," she says.
Besides gifts, Christi counts on The Dandelion Patch for "just about
anything made from paper" - from printed address labels and personalized
