So, what do Bunny Slippers and Justin Timberlake
have in common? They've both been seen in public
with Joey Fatone!
Like much of America,
Monday and Tuesday nights
have us curled up watching Dancing With The Stars
as a family. We so enjoyed former N'Sync star Joey
Fatone's wild antics, especially showing up on TV
wearing bunny slippers after his dances, presumably
because his tootsies needed a break. Wherever did
he
get those fabulous Bunnies?
Now YOUR tootsies can enjoy the fluffy comfort of

"I thought the store was enchanting," said Louise
Schalk when she described her first impressions of
The Dandelion Patch. She and her fiancé were dining
at Clyde's in Reston Town Center and were
discussing their wedding planning. Louise was
looking for invitations, and had yet to find what she
was looking for. "Back when I first married,
department stores handled all of that," she recalled.
"I walked out of dinner and there it was!" The
Dandelion Patch was brand new, and had rows and
rows of stationery albums to choose from. "I was so
relieved," said this bride-to-be.
Like most of
our bides, Louise wanted things to be "just so" for her
big occasion, only her nuptials have a special twist --
She's the bride in a wedding where her daughter is
the matron of honor, and three granddaughters will be
her bridesmaids!
"Victoria was so helpful, and she caught on right away
as to what we wanted," Louise shared.
This happy couple met in a retirement community after
both were widowed. They decided to get married, and
the celebration planned will truly be the union of two
very loving families.
When friends and family started calling Louise to ask
where she'd registered, she clearly didn't require the
usual items a new bride needs to set up house. So, it
was back to The Dandelion Patch to create a Bridal
Registry from our gifts and stationery items.
When asked what wisdom she had for other brides,
Louise said, "You're never too old to have a full-
fledged wedding."
So true, Louise, and we
thank you for letting us be part of this very special
family celebration.
