Summer is great for parties and celebrations! Read

have planned for the Grand Opening Celebration at
our Reston Town Center location.

Join The Dandelion Patch for an evening of
expert advice, personalized shopping, door prizes and
discounts. Each month the Patch will extend its hours
on a Tuesday night and feature a special topic to help
our customers. Take advantage of this opportunity to
learn, shop and save with specialists on hand to
assist you with your orders and shopping. Attend Tips
on Tuesdays and save %15 percent off (that night

Rasy Pin peeked into The Dandelion Patch Reston
Town Center store the day before it opened. She knew
this was going to be her favorite store. Rasy had
decided the dandelion was going to be the theme of
her upcoming wedding, and the store opening, down
to the dandelion door handles, was an obvious sign
that fate was at work.
"I wanted to design my own invitation, and Lindsay
and the team were so patient with me, " said this
marketing manager for AOL. "When they printed the
proofs, it was so real!" Rasy plans a July 14 wedding
in Leesburg, Virginia.
"I love the store," Rasy adds. "My mother-in-law, sister-
in-law and friends have all purchased invitations for
other wedding events there." She says there's always
something new to discover in the store among all the
gifts. "It's always busy, and always interesting."
Rasy attended our Tips on Tuesdays in April and
really enjoyed meeting the other brides to be. Her
advice? "Don't feel limited. Whatever you can dream
up, The Dandelion Patch can help realize it."
Rasy admits she's a weekly visitor to The Dandelion
Patch. "It's on my weekly To Do list... buy groceries,
visit The Patch, pick up dry cleaning..."

Those Hands |

Dad talked with his hands.
He picked me up when I fell off my bike for the first
time, brushed me off, got me back on the seat, and
ran
along side holding on as I pedaled my heart out.
I felt secure because his hands were there to
guide me, to make sure I didn't fall.
What a
surprise to learn that he'd let go half a block ago, and I
was pedaling on my own.
I did it. He knew I
could.
That small scenario between fathers and their kids is
played out daily. Dad can lift higher, hug stronger, and
hold on when kids need them most. They also let go
when it's time for independence.
