Vera Bradley Spring Line is Here!

We're so excited to announce that Vera Bradley's Spring 2007 line has already arrived in our store! Come in to see the gorgeous new patters: Peacock, Botanica, Capri Melon, Capri Blue and the exclusive Breast Cancer Awareness design, Pink Elephants.

These classic cotton bags are so lightweight and VB devotees just rave about the fantastic way they're organized inside. Some love the Villager for its great organization, some the Messenger as a super-stylish laptop case. A recent fan of the Hipster claimed it is her favorite style because you can wear it as a regular, over-the-shoulder purse, or if you’re tearing through the mall are carrying a lot of bags, you can wear it across your chest to make the load a little bit lighter.

One thing is for certain -- there are many styles and colors to choose from, and all seem to agree that once you go Vera, you never go back to a regular purse again. Come in and see which one suits you best.

According to the Greeting Card Association of America, 25% of cards sent each year are Valentines. That's a lot of love whizzing through our postal system, and it's bound to be difficult to find something as unique as your intended recipient.

Valentine Party Ideas

Valentines Day comes at the perfect time of year for a party. Its cold, the weather can be downright dreary, and, let's face it, people want to get together and snuggle up for the rest of the winter. Valentine parties should be cheerful, bright, and simple. What other time of year do you get the chance to use red and pink in your decorating?

Not to mention, you can make an entire menu consisting of chocolate, and no one would bat and eye. In fact, they'd likely applaud your efforts. Try adding a little cocoa powder to things like chili and watch guests rave about the rich flavor, and marvel when you reveal the secret ingredient.

Confessions of a Customer

Joanie Ohrt was a blushing bride-to-be when she first came into The Dandelion Patch. Her mom had learned of the store, and brought her daughter in to find the perfect wedding invitation that would set the tone for her daughter's big day.

"Heidi and The Dandelion Patch team were just fantastic," Joanie says. "They were able to take my description of what I wanted and point me in the right direction." Brides often comment that they always feel special and never rushed or hurried when they step into the store. We strive to provide that very special kind of service.

The Dandelion Patch did find the perfect invitation for Joanie's September wedding. "I had a guest call me after receiving the invitation to say she felt she should send me a thank-you card just for sending it -- it was that beautiful," she reports. Wow, we're equally as flattered.
