Conveniently located across from the Reston Multiplex Cinema, our new store offers the same great products and service you've come to expect in Vienna. We're delighted to offer our gracious expressions in yet another fine Northern Virginia community. Come in and meet our fantastic Reston team today!

Confessions of a Customer

Alex Shumway is a busy woman. How she manages a large family, keeps up with activities and social schedules, and family obligations baffles us each time she comes into the store. She's one of our best customers, and we recently caught her on the run to ask her a few questions about her experiences at The Dandelion Patch.

Alex told us how important it is for her to find something unique when giving a gift, "I like to find something you wouldn't normally see in one of the big malls," she confides. "I love how The Dandelion Patch can personalize almost anything they have, and it makes it such a special gift to give, and receive.

For a recent family wedding, Alex selected monogrammed Tervis Tumblers for the happy couple. "It was the kind of thing they'll enjoy for years and something they wouldn't get from anyone else." Her daughters, who served as bridesmaids, decided on personal stationery for the Mr. & Mrs. as a special, heartfelt gift as they start their lives together.

Alex, who thinks outside the box not only for gifts but for invitations to her own social events as well recommends The Dandelion Patch shopper really take the time to browse, "There are so many little treasures in the store waiting to be discovered, "she offers.

"Don't hesitate to accept the guidance of Heidi and the staff -- they're terrific and they know what they're doing. Some of my best ideas came from them," she jests.

Our First Reston Customers

Heidi Kallett and The Dandelion Patch Reston Team were pleased to welcome their first customers, Mr. & Mrs. Carol Thomas of Reston.

The couple lives in midtown in Reston Town Center, and walked by during their mid-morning stroll. "We were walking by and it looked so pretty we just had to come in," explained Laura Thomas.

The couple, who describe themselves as Reston Town Center regulars, purchased party napkins in Easter colors for clever birthday and hostess gifts. "The people are so friendly and the store is just gorgeous. This is the ideal place for this kind of shop," Laura said.

Mr. Carol Thomas presented store owner Heidi Kallett with the Reston store's first dollar bill, which she plans to frame and hang in the store. "Today's register will be a dollar short!" she jokingly announced to her beaming staff as she rang up the first sale.

The Reston Town Center team looks forward to welcoming the Thomas' as regular customers, and is delighted to be a part of the Reston Community.
